2022 USAW American Open Series 2 Recap

Better late than ever. September 16-18, 2022 Calgary Canada was the site of the USAW American Open Series 2 Championships. While there were plenty of international level competition athletes, the Pacific Northwest sent a contingency of 14 athletes representing youth to masters 50-55 YO age groups.

Special mentions Alec Olson took home a silver in the men’s 102 open category qualifying him for American Open Finals and Kimberlee Douglas took home a bronze in the open division as a 40-45 YO female athlete also qualifying her as a senior in American Open Finals. Mira Gracia qualified as a 55 kg 50-55 YO athlete for 2022 Masters World Championships.
